Job Summary

The Accounts Controller – Medical Billing and Revenue Tasks is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of patient billing, insurance claims, and revenue management functions within a healthcare environment. The role plays a critical part in maintaining financial integrity, reducing revenue leakage, and supporting smooth coordination between clinical, administrative, and finance departments. Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end medical billing processes, including patient accounts and insurance claims
• Review, verify, and process invoices in accordance with hospital and insurer guidelines
• Ensure accurate coding of medical procedures and services for billing purposes
• Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve billing discrepancies
• Liaise with insurance providers, patients, and internal departments to ensure smooth claim settlements
• Maintain updated records of revenue transactions and billing adjustments
• Reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports related to patient billing
• Support audit requirements and ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations
• Identify and report revenue leakage risks and support corrective actions
• Assist in improving billing processes and system efficiency

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Knowledge of medical billing systems and healthcare revenue cycles
