Job Summary
InfoTech Solutions is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cloud DevOps Lead to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS environments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). This role will lead DevOps initiatives, drive automation-first practices, and ensure high availability, security, and performance of cloud-native applications across global teams in India and the United States.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader who can architect cloud solutions, mentor engineering teams, and collaborate closely with software development, security, and product stakeholders in a fast-paced remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and modern DevOps practices
- Architect and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable cloud environments
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards and best practices across teams
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure system reliability (SRE practices)
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment workflows and release cycles
- Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual intervention and operational overhead
- Ensure compliance with security standards, governance policies, and cloud best practices
- Mentor and guide DevOps engineers and contribute to technical decision-making
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong expertise in AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
- Understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Experience
- 7–12 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering roles
- Minimum 3+ years in a leadership or senior DevOps role
- Proven experience managing large-scale AWS cloud infrastructure
Working Hours
- Fully remote role (India/US time zone overlap required)
- Flexible working hours with core collaboration windows
- Occasional availability for production support and incident response
