Job Summary
InfoTech Solutions is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Cloud Security Engineer with a strong background in modern cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity frameworks, and Zero Trust architecture. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving cloud security controls across multi-cloud and hybrid environments. You will collaborate closely with infrastructure teams, software engineers, DevOps professionals, compliance specialists, and leadership teams to ensure the organization maintains a strong security posture while supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain cloud security architectures across platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.

Build and enforce Zero Trust security frameworks across users, applications, endpoints, and network layers.

Implement identity and access management policies, privileged access controls, and multi-factor authentication solutions.

Develop and automate security controls using Infrastructure as Code and security orchestration tools.

Conduct cloud security assessments, vulnerability scans, penetration testing coordination, and risk analysis.

Monitor cloud environments for suspicious activity, misconfigurations, and emerging threats.

Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.

Configure and manage cloud-native security tools, firewalls, endpoint protections, and threat detection systems.

Support incident response investigations, root cause analysis, and remediation activities.

Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, GDPR, and internal governance requirements.

Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, security reports, and audit evidence.

Provide security recommendations to stakeholders and engineering leadership.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist

Strong understanding of Zero Trust security models and modern identity-centric security principles.

Expertise in cloud networking, segmentation, encryption, and secure architecture design.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Experience with container security, Kubernetes, and microservices environments.

Strong knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and cloud-native monitoring solutions.

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle practices.
Experience

5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud engineering, or security architecture.

Minimum 3+ years of hands-on cloud security experience.

Proven experience implementing enterprise Zero Trust frameworks.

Experience supporting regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, SaaS, or enterprise technology environments is preferred.

Experience in incident response, threat modeling, and cloud forensics is highly desirable.
