IT Sight Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Cloud Solutions Architect (GCP) to design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud-based solutions for enterprise-level clients. Key Responsibilities

Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Lead cloud migration strategies, including re-platforming and modernization of legacy systems.
Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Develop architectural blueprints, best practices, and governance frameworks for cloud adoption.
Optimize cloud environments for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and operations teams.
Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
Support pre-sales activities by providing technical expertise and solution presentations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and VPC.
Proficiency in cloud architecture design patterns and microservices-based systems.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.
Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience

Minimum 5–10 years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 3+ years focused on GCP.
Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale enterprise cloud solutions.
Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments is an added advantage.
Prior experience in consulting or client-facing roles is highly desirable.

Working Hours

Fully remote position with flexible working hours.
Availability to collaborate across global time zones when required.
Standard workweek with occasional extended hours during critical project phases.
