Content Moderator – Remote Social Media Safety

Job Summary

InfoTech Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Content Moderator – Remote Social Media Safety to help maintain a safe and trustworthy digital environment across social media platforms. The ideal candidate will review user-generated content, ensure compliance with community guidelines, and take appropriate action on harmful, inappropriate, or sensitive content. This role is critical in protecting online communities and ensuring a positive user experience globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and moderate text, images, videos, and user interactions on social media platforms
• Identify and remove content that violates platform policies or community standards
• Escalate complex or sensitive cases to senior moderation or policy teams
• Monitor flagged content and respond within defined SLA timelines
• Maintain high accuracy and consistency in moderation decisions
• Document moderation actions and maintain compliance records
• Stay updated on evolving online safety policies and guidelines
• Collaborate with global trust & safety teams to improve moderation processes

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of social media platforms and online communities
• Excellent attention to detail and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong written communication skills in English
• Emotional resilience when handling sensitive or disturbing content
• Basic understanding of online safety, community guidelines, and digital ethics
• Good analytical and critical thinking abilities

Experience

• 0–3 years of experience in content moderation, customer support, or digital operations preferred
• Fresh graduates with strong communication and analytical skills are encouraged to apply

Working Hours

• Remote full-time role
• Rotational shifts (including weekends if required)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
