Cybersecurity Threat Attribution Analyst – Remote

Job Summary

InfoTech Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Cybersecurity Threat Attribution Analyst to join our remote security operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and attributing cyber threats, including advanced persistent threats (APTs), malicious campaigns, and nation-state activities. You will work closely with cybersecurity engineers, incident response teams, and intelligence analysts to deliver actionable threat intelligence that strengthens organizational defense capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze cyber incidents to determine origin, intent, and attribution of threat actors
• Investigate malware, phishing campaigns, and network intrusions using threat intelligence tools
• Correlate data from multiple sources to identify patterns and attack infrastructure
• Develop detailed attribution reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor emerging cyber threats, APT groups, and global cybercrime trends
• Collaborate with SOC (Security Operations Center) teams during active incidents
• Maintain and improve threat intelligence databases and frameworks
• Support incident response with forensic and intelligence-driven insights
• Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat intelligence, and digital forensics
• Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar)
• Knowledge of malware analysis and reverse engineering concepts
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat attribution methodologies
• Proficiency in OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or incident response roles
• Prior experience in SOC, cyber defense, or digital forensics is highly preferred
• Experience working with global threat intelligence platforms is an advantage
