Job Summary
RapidRoute Express is seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and customer-oriented Delivery Driver to join our growing logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting packages, documents, and courier shipments to residential, commercial, and business locations within assigned local routes. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Code 08OR10 driver’s license, demonstrate strong route planning abilities, and maintain a professional attitude while ensuring timely and secure deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate company delivery vehicles while following all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Collect, transport, and deliver parcels, documents, and packages according to assigned schedules.

Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and minimize delays.

Load and unload packages carefully to prevent damage during transportation.

Verify delivery information, recipient details, and package conditions before dispatch.

Obtain signatures, proof of delivery, or digital confirmations from customers.

Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, fuel usage reports, and delivery documentation.

Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or mechanical issues promptly.

Communicate effectively with dispatch coordinators regarding route changes, delays, or delivery concerns.

Maintain professional customer interactions while representing company standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Valid Code 08OR10 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.

Strong knowledge of local roads, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns.

Ability to use GPS navigation systems, delivery applications, and mobile communication devices.

Experience

Minimum 1–2 years of professional driving or delivery experience preferred.

Entry-level candidates with strong driving skills and the required license may also be considered.
Working Hours

Full-time position.

5–6 working days per week.
