Job Summary

Language Education PH is seeking a passionate and dedicated ESL/Online English Tutor to deliver high-quality English language instruction to both children and adult learners across global markets. The ideal candidate will create engaging, student-centered online lessons that improve learners’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. This role requires strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to different age groups and proficiency levels.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct online English lessons for kids and adult learners via virtual learning platforms
Develop lesson plans tailored to student needs, goals, and English proficiency levels
Create interactive and engaging learning activities to improve student participation
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback regularly
Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and learning outcomes
Adapt teaching methods for different age groups, learning styles, and cultural backgrounds
Encourage students to build confidence in spoken and written English
Participate in training sessions and continuous professional development programs
Follow company curriculum guidelines and teaching standards

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or related field (preferred)
TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification is highly preferred
Excellent spoken and written English proficiency (neutral or native-level fluency)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to teach both children and adults effectively
Comfortable using online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)
Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
Reliable internet connection and suitable home-based teaching setup

Experience

0–2 years of experience for entry-level tutors (training provided)
2+ years of ESL or online teaching experience preferred for senior roles
Experience teaching kids or adult learners is an advantage

Working Hours

Flexible online schedule (part-time or full-time options available)
Peak teaching hours may include evenings, nights, and weekends (based on student location)
Minimum commitment of 15–40 hours per week depending on contract type

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong understanding of ESL teaching methodologies
Ability to simplify complex language concepts for learners
High adaptability to different student learning speeds and styles
Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive teaching attitude
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to motivate and build learner confidence
