Job Summary
Google is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations of a large, dynamic office campus. This role is critical in ensuring that all building systems, infrastructure, and equipment operate efficiently, safely, and reliably. Key Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.

Monitor building automation systems (BMS) to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues across the campus.

Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance work.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance documentation.

Ensure adherence to safety standards, company policies, and local regulatory requirements.

Support emergency response activities and participate in on-call rotations when required.

Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance facility performance and sustainability.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Diploma or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or related technical field.

Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Proficiency in using maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and software systems.

Experience

Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or a similar role.

Experience working in large commercial buildings, corporate campuses, or data centers is highly preferred.

Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and building management systems is an advantage.
Working Hours

Full-time, on-site position.

Standard working hours with flexibility for shifts, weekends, and emergency call-outs as needed.

Participation in rotational on-call schedules may be required.
