InfoTech Solutions is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Freelance Grants Writer to support non-profit organizations in securing funding from foundations, corporations, government agencies, and philanthropic institutions. As a Freelance Grants Writer, you will collaborate with leadership teams, program managers, and stakeholders to identify grant opportunities, develop compelling narratives, and submit high-quality proposals that maximize funding success. Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify grant opportunities from private foundations, corporate sponsors, government agencies, and international funding organizations.
  • Analyze grant guidelines, eligibility criteria, and submission requirements.
  • Develop compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry, concept notes, and funding applications.
  • Gather program data, financial information, organizational documentation, and supporting materials required for submissions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand project goals, budgets, outcomes, and impact metrics.
  • Prepare grant budgets in partnership with finance and project teams.
  • Manage multiple deadlines and maintain grant calendars for ongoing opportunities.
  • Track proposal submissions, follow-up communications, and funding outcomes.
  • Assist in grant reporting, donor communication, and compliance documentation when required.
  • Build and maintain a database of funding sources and proposal records.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Public Administration, Non-Profit Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Professional grant writing certification is considered an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research and analytical abilities.
  • Exceptional editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to translate complex program objectives into compelling funding proposals.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in proposal writing tools, document management systems, and productivity software.

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of professional grant writing experience.
  • Proven success in securing grants for non-profit organizations, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, or social impact initiatives.
  • Demonstrated history of winning grants from foundations, corporate donors, or government agencies.
  • Experience working independently in freelance or remote environments preferred.

Working Hours
