Inventory Control Analyst – Remote Supply Chain

Job Summary

InfoTech Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Control Analyst to join our remote Supply Chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing inventory levels across multiple distribution channels to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce discrepancies, and support smooth supply chain performance in a fast-paced digital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly inventory levels across warehouses and distribution centers
• Identify inventory discrepancies and investigate root causes
• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP and supply chain systems
• Support demand forecasting and replenishment planning
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize stock availability
• Generate inventory performance reports and present insights to management
• Implement inventory control procedures to reduce shrinkage and wastage
• Assist in cycle counts and annual physical inventory audits
• Recommend process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency
• Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory management standards

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis tools)
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Understanding of inventory control principles and supply chain operations

Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain analysis, or logistics operations
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, or distribution environments is highly preferred
• Prior exposure to remote or distributed team environments is an advantage

Working Hours

• Full-time remote position
• Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (flexible depending on business needs)
• Occasional overlap with international teams may be required
