Junior SRE – Remote Infrastructure Support

Job Summary

HR Talent Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Remote Infrastructure Support team. In this role, you will assist in maintaining, monitoring, and improving the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure systems. You will work closely with senior engineers to ensure system uptime, respond to incidents, and support continuous improvement of operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability across production environments
• Assist in incident response, troubleshooting, and resolution of infrastructure issues
• Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure systems
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to improve automation and system stability
• Participate in on-call rotations for production support
• Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and incident reports
• Assist in implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
• Contribute to root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive action plans

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems administration
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP)
• Understanding of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar
• Awareness of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn infrastructure and reliability engineering practices

Experience

• 0–2 years of experience in IT support, DevOps, system administration, or related fields
• Fresh graduates with relevant internships or project experience are encouraged to apply

Working Hours

• Remote full-time position
• Standard working hours: 40 hours per week
• Flexibility required for rotational on-call support and critical incident response
