Job Summary
The NGO Research and Documentation Assistant will support research activities, data collection, reporting, and documentation processes within RightStep Foundation. The role is designed for detail-oriented individuals who are passionate about social impact, development work, and evidence-based program support. The assistant will help ensure that all project documentation, field data, and research outputs are accurately recorded, well-organized, and aligned with organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in conducting qualitative and quantitative research for ongoing NGO projects

Collect, compile, and organize field data from surveys, interviews, and reports

Maintain and update project documentation, databases, and digital records

Support preparation of research reports, case studies, and impact assessments

Review and verify data accuracy before submission or publication

Coordinate with field teams to gather timely and relevant information

Assist in drafting summaries, presentations, and internal briefing notes

Ensure proper archiving of documents for compliance and future reference

Support monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities as required
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Administration, or related field

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace

Good understanding of research methods and data collection techniques

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Basic knowledge of NGO operations and development sector work preferred
Experience

0–2 years of experience in research, documentation, data entry, or NGO work

Fresh graduates with strong academic research exposure are encouraged to apply

Standard working hours: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
