Job Summary

Tutor Global is seeking a passionate and dedicated Online Academic Tutor specializing in Mathematics and Science to deliver high-quality virtual instruction to students across various grade levels. The ideal candidate will support learners in strengthening conceptual understanding, improving academic performance, and building confidence in core STEM subjects through engaging online sessions. This role requires strong subject expertise, excellent communication skills, and a student-centered teaching approach.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one and small group online tutoring sessions in Mathematics and Science subjects
Prepare customized lesson plans based on student learning needs and curriculum standards
Explain complex concepts in a clear, simple, and engaging manner
Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and feedback sessions
Identify learning gaps and provide targeted academic support
Maintain accurate records of student performance and session reports
Encourage student participation, motivation, and academic discipline
Collaborate with parents or academic coordinators when required
Utilize digital teaching tools and virtual platforms effectively

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong command of Mathematics and Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General Science)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to simplify complex academic concepts for learners of different levels
Proficiency in online teaching tools (Zoom, Google Meet, whiteboards, LMS platforms)
Strong interpersonal and student engagement skills
Patience, adaptability, and problem-solving mindset
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, Mathematics, or related field (preferred)

Experience

Minimum 1–2 years of tutoring or teaching experience preferred
Fresh graduates with strong subject knowledge and teaching aptitude are also encouraged to apply

Working Hours

Flexible remote working schedule
Part-time and full-time shifts available
Evening and weekend availability may be required based on student demand
