Job Summary

Azad Group Hotels is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Online Order Delivery & Logistics Controller to oversee and optimize our order fulfillment, delivery coordination, and logistics operations. This role is critical in ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately, dispatched efficiently, and delivered on time while maintaining exceptional service standards.

The ideal candidate will possess strong operational management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will work closely with internal departments, suppliers, delivery partners, and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations across our hospitality and food service channels.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end online order processing, from order confirmation to final delivery.
  • Coordinate with kitchen teams, inventory departments, and dispatch personnel to ensure timely order preparation.
  • Monitor daily delivery schedules and ensure all orders are dispatched according to service standards.
  • Liaise with third-party delivery partners and internal drivers to optimize route planning and delivery efficiency.
  • Track delivery performance metrics including delivery times, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve delivery delays, order discrepancies, and logistics-related issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of orders, dispatch logs, delivery reports, and inventory movement.
  • Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure adequate stock availability.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements for better efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics performance reports for management review.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of order management systems, logistics operations, and delivery coordination.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Excel, order management platforms, and reporting tools.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience

  • Minimum 2โ€“5 years of experience in logistics coordination, delivery operations, supply chain management, e-commerce operations, or hospitality operations.
  • Experience in hotel, restaurant, food delivery, or retail distribution environments will be highly preferred.
  • Prior experience managing delivery teams or third-party logistics vendors is an advantage.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position.
  • 5 to 6 working days per week based on operational requirements.
  • Flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays when necessary.
  • Rotational shifts may apply depending on business demand.

  • Knowledge of supply chain processes and last-mile delivery operations.
  • Ability to analyze operational data and make informed decisions.
