Job Summary
Lugeta Academy is seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and student-focused Online Speed Math & Vedic Math Tutor to join our academic team. This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about mathematics, mental calculation techniques, and helping students build confidence in problem-solving. The selected candidate will deliver engaging online classes, develop customized lesson strategies, and support learners in mastering speed mathematics, Vedic mathematics techniques, and logical reasoning skills.
As an Online Speed Math & Vedic Math Tutor, you will work with students across different age groups, helping them strengthen their numerical abilities, improve calculation speed, and develop a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts through innovative teaching methodologies.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver live online classes in Speed Math, Mental Math, and Vedic Mathematics for students across multiple academic levels.

Design structured lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives and skill levels.

Teach core Vedic Math concepts, shortcut methods, number operations, and problem-solving strategies.

Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, and regular performance evaluations.

Provide constructive feedback to students and, when necessary, communicate learning progress with parents or guardians.

Create engaging educational materials, worksheets, presentations, and practice exercises.

Adapt teaching techniques to suit individual learning styles and academic needs.

Encourage students to develop confidence, concentration, and analytical thinking skills.

Maintain accurate attendance records, student assessments, and performance reports.

Participate in curriculum improvement initiatives and academic planning meetings.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, Science, or a related academic field.

Certification or specialized training in Vedic Mathematics is highly preferred.

Strong command of arithmetic operations, mental math strategies, and mathematical reasoning.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Proficiency in conducting online classes using digital teaching platforms.

Strong presentation and classroom engagement abilities.

Ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts for young learners.

Comfortable using digital tools such as virtual whiteboards, video conferencing platforms, and learning management systems.
Experience

Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in Mathematics, Speed Math, Mental Math, or Vedic Math.

Experience in online tutoring or virtual classroom instruction is preferred.

Prior experience teaching school students, competitive exam learners, or enrichment program participants will be an advantage.
Working Hours
