Job Summary

SeaLuxe Voyages is seeking a professional and customer-focused Passenger Services Officer to join our cruise terminal operations team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests embarking on their voyage, responsible for ensuring a smooth, efficient, and welcoming check-in experience. You will manage passenger documentation, boarding procedures, and coordinate with internal teams to maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist passengers during cruise terminal check-in and boarding procedures
Verify travel documents, identification, and booking details in accordance with company and international maritime regulations
Process passenger check-in using terminal management systems
Issue boarding passes, luggage tags, and related travel documentation
Coordinate luggage handling and ensure proper routing to cabins
Provide clear instructions and guidance to passengers regarding boarding schedules and terminal procedures
Assist with special requirements, including elderly passengers, families, and guests with accessibility needs
Liaise with security, immigration, and cruise ship operations teams
Handle guest queries, complaints, and service issues professionally and efficiently
Ensure compliance with safety, security, and port authority regulations

Required Skills and Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism, or related field preferred)
Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage)
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Basic computer literacy and ability to operate check-in systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude

Experience

1–3 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, airport operations, cruise operations, or front desk roles preferred
Freshers with strong communication skills and enthusiasm for the travel industry may also apply

Working Hours

Shift-based role (including weekends, holidays, and evenings)
Working hours depend on cruise schedules and passenger arrival timings
Overtime may be required during peak embarkation periods

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Understanding of guest service standards in hospitality or travel industries
Familiarity with passenger processing or check-in systems (preferred)
Ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining accuracy
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Awareness of safety, security, and maritime operational procedures
Professional appearance and customer-first attitude
