Job Summary
HR Talent Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Remote Billing Specialist to support our dental and medical billing operations for US-based healthcare clients. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end billing processes, ensure accurate claim submissions, resolve billing discrepancies, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations. This role requires strong knowledge of medical and dental billing systems, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities

Handle end-to-end medical and dental billing processes for US insurance claims

Prepare, submit, and track electronic and paper claims accurately and timely

Review patient records and verify billing accuracy before submission

Follow up on unpaid, denied, or rejected claims and ensure proper resolution

Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status and corrections

Post payments and adjustments to patient accounts in billing systems

Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other US healthcare regulations

Generate billing reports and support financial reconciliation processes

Collaborate with healthcare providers and internal teams for issue resolution
Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong knowledge of US medical and dental billing procedures

Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems

Experience with billing software (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental, AdvancedMD, Kareo, or similar)

Understanding of insurance claim processing and denial management

Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently in a remote setup

Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience

2–5 years of experience in medical or dental billing (US healthcare preferred)

Prior experience in claim submission and AR follow-up is required

Remote work experience is an advantage
Working Hours

Full-time remote position

US business hours (EST/PST flexibility required)

40 hours per week with potential overtime during peak cycles
