Job Summary
IT Sight Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Remote Claims Assessor to support general insurance projects across diverse client portfolios. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating insurance claims, verifying documentation, and ensuring accurate, fair, and timely settlements in line with policy guidelines and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

Assess and process general insurance claims including motor, health, property, and casualty claims.

Review claim forms, supporting documents, and policy details to determine validity and coverage.

Investigate claims by coordinating with clients, insurers, surveyors, and third parties when required.

Ensure compliance with company policies, insurance regulations, and industry standards.

Identify fraudulent or suspicious claims and escalate appropriately.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all claim activities in internal systems.

Communicate claim decisions clearly and professionally to stakeholders.

Meet turnaround time (TAT) and quality benchmarks set by the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong understanding of general insurance policies and claim processes.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in using claims management software and MS Office tools.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience

2–5 years of experience in insurance claims assessment or claims processing.

Prior experience in remote or offshore insurance projects is an advantage.

Experience working with international insurance clients is preferred.
Working Hours

Must be available to work in rotational shifts depending on client requirements.

Standard workweek: 5 days with weekend rotation if required.
