Job Summary

OneTech Associates is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Remote Claims Processor to join our growing insurance operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and processing insurance claims with accuracy and efficiency. You will work closely with internal departments, policyholders, and third-party providers to ensure timely claim resolution while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. This is a fully remote opportunity ideal for professionals who excel in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate insurance claims for completeness, accuracy, and policy compliance
  • Process claims in accordance with company guidelines and industry regulations
  • Verify documentation, including medical records, invoices, and policy details
  • Communicate with claimants, agents, and third parties to gather necessary information
  • Identify discrepancies or potential fraud and escalate when required
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records in claims management systems
  • Ensure timely processing to meet service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Collaborate with underwriters, adjusters, and customer service teams
  • Stay updated on insurance policies, procedures, and regulatory changes

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and claims processing software
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Experience

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in insurance claims processing or a related field
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment is an advantage
  • Familiarity with various types of insurance claims (health, life, property, or auto) preferred

Working Hours

  • Full-time position
