Job Summary
InfoTech Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and highly accurate Remote Medical Scribe to support Emergency Room (ER) clinicians during night shifts. In this role, you will work in real time alongside physicians to document patient encounters, update electronic health records (EHR), and ensure accurate clinical documentation. This position is critical in improving workflow efficiency, reducing physician documentation burden, and enhancing patient care quality in fast-paced emergency settings.
Key Responsibilities

Accurately document patient encounters in real time during ER consultations

Transcribe physician dictations, medical histories, physical examinations, and treatment plans into EHR systems

Record diagnostic test results, lab reports, and imaging findings as directed by physicians

Ensure documentation is completed in compliance with medical, legal, and hospital standards

Maintain strict confidentiality of patient data in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

Collaborate with ER physicians and healthcare teams remotely during live sessions

Review and correct clinical notes for accuracy, grammar, and completeness

Adapt quickly to high-pressure, fast-paced emergency environments
Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures

Excellent English language proficiency (written and listening comprehension)

High typing speed with strong accuracy (minimum 50–70 WPM preferred)

Familiarity with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar preferred)

Ability to multitask and document in real time during fast-paced consultations

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Good communication skills and ability to follow clinical instructions precisely

Reliable internet connection and a quiet remote working environment
Experience
-
1–2 years of experience as a medical scribe preferred

Fresh graduates in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or Allied Health may also apply

Prior experience in emergency medicine documentation is an advantage
Working Hours
-
Night Shift (India Time aligned with US ER clinics)

5–6 days per week depending on roster

Rotational weekend shifts may apply

Shift duration: 8–10 hours
