Job Summary

CarePoint Org is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Remote NGO Volunteer Manager to oversee, coordinate, and strengthen our global volunteer network. This role is essential in ensuring that volunteers are effectively recruited, trained, engaged, and retained across various humanitarian and community development projects. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social impact, experienced in volunteer coordination, and capable of managing teams in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement volunteer recruitment strategies to attract skilled and motivated individuals
Manage end-to-end volunteer onboarding, including screening, orientation, and training programs
Coordinate volunteer assignments based on skills, availability, and project requirements
Maintain strong communication channels with volunteers across multiple regions and time zones
Monitor volunteer performance and provide feedback, recognition, and support
Collaborate with project managers to align volunteer efforts with organizational goals
Organize virtual meetings, workshops, and engagement activities to enhance volunteer retention
Maintain accurate volunteer records, reports, and documentation
Address volunteer concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely and professional manner
Support fundraising and awareness campaigns through volunteer mobilization

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Social Work, Management, or related field
Strong understanding of volunteer management or nonprofit operations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage remote teams effectively
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and remote collaboration tools (Zoom, Slack, Trello, etc.)
Problem-solving mindset with empathy and leadership qualities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Experience

Minimum 2–4 years of experience in volunteer coordination, HR, or nonprofit program management
Experience in remote team management is highly preferred
Prior NGO or community development experience will be an added advantage

Working Hours

Fully remote position
Flexible working hours based on project needs
Expected availability of 30–40 hours per week
Occasional weekend or evening availability for global coordination meetings

Strong knowledge of volunteer engagement strategies and nonprofit workflows
Ability to build and maintain long-term volunteer relationships
Cultural sensitivity and experience working with diverse teams
High-level communication, reporting, and documentation skills
