Job Summary
HR Talent Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Remote Shopify Developer – E-commerce Maintenance to support and optimize our clients’ Shopify-based online stores. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, updating, and enhancing e-commerce websites to ensure seamless performance, improved user experience, and strong conversion rates. You will collaborate with marketing and design teams to implement functional and visually appealing solutions that drive online sales growth.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain, update, and troubleshoot Shopify stores to ensure optimal performance

Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Implement new features, plugins, and third-party integrations as required

Monitor website performance, speed, and responsiveness across devices

Fix bugs, resolve technical issues, and ensure site stability

Collaborate with designers and marketing teams for UI/UX improvements

Manage product uploads, collections, and inventory structure when needed

Ensure SEO best practices are implemented on all product and landing pages

Perform regular website backups and security updates

Support checkout optimization and conversion rate improvements
Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong experience with Shopify development and theme customization

Proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery

Understanding of Shopify APIs and app integrations

Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

Familiarity with SEO principles for e-commerce websites

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Experience

Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Shopify development or e-commerce website management

Proven portfolio of Shopify projects or live stores is highly preferred
