Job Summary

InfoTech Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Solar Energy Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale solar energy projects across the Western United States. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong leadership abilities and deep expertise in renewable energy project management. You will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing budgets, and delivering projects on time and within scope while advancing sustainable energy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project management of utility-scale and commercial solar energy projects
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and regulatory teams
Manage project budgets, cost controls, and financial forecasting
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal energy regulations
Conduct site evaluations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments
Oversee contractor performance and vendor relationships
Monitor project progress and prepare status reports for stakeholders
Identify and mitigate risks to ensure timely project delivery
Support commissioning, testing, and final project handover processes

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong knowledge of solar energy systems, PV technology, and grid integration
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
Strong understanding of environmental regulations and permitting processes
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Leadership mindset with ability to manage remote and cross-functional teams

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
5–10 years of experience in solar or renewable energy project management
Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale energy projects
PMP certification or equivalent is highly preferred

Working Hours

Full-time remote position
Flexible working schedule aligned with Western US time zones
Occasional travel required for site visits and stakeholder meetings
