Job Summary
IT Sight Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Remote Systems Administrator to join our Managed IT Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing client IT infrastructures across diverse environments. You will ensure high availability, security, and performance of systems while delivering exceptional technical support and service excellence. Key Responsibilities

Manage, monitor, and maintain client servers, networks, and cloud environments.

Perform system installations, configurations, upgrades, and patch management.

Ensure system security through proactive monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and implementation of best practices.

Provide remote technical support for escalated infrastructure and system-related issues.

Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and virtualization platforms.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.

Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.

Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality IT services to clients.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to infrastructure.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux systems, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.

Proficiency in networking concepts including TCP/IP, firewalls, routing, and switching.

Hands-on experience with monitoring tools and remote management systems.

Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
Experience
-
Minimum 3–6 years of experience in system administration or managed IT services.

Proven experience supporting multiple clients or environments remotely.

Experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is highly preferred.

Certifications such as Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE), CompTIA (Network+/Security+), or AWS/Azure certifications are a plus.
Working Hours

Full-time, remote position.
