Job Summary
HR Talent Solutions is seeking a highly accurate and detail-oriented Remote Transcriptionist – Legal & General Media to join our growing remote workforce. In this role, you will be responsible for converting audio and video recordings into precise written documents across legal proceedings, interviews, corporate meetings, and general media content. The ideal candidate has excellent listening skills, strong grammar proficiency, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while working independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities

Transcribe audio and video recordings into clear, accurate written documents

Handle legal, corporate, and general media transcription assignments

Ensure proper formatting, punctuation, and grammar in all transcripts

Review and edit transcripts for accuracy before submission

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information

Meet deadlines while managing multiple transcription assignments

Identify and flag unclear audio segments for clarification when needed

Follow client-specific formatting and style guidelines
Required Skills and Qualifications

Excellent command of English language, grammar, and punctuation

Strong listening and comprehension skills

Fast and accurate typing ability (minimum 50+ WPM preferred)

Familiarity with transcription tools and software is an advantage

Ability to distinguish accents and background audio variations

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Basic understanding of legal or media terminology (preferred)

Ability to work independently in a remote setup
Experience

Minimum 1–2 years of transcription experience preferred

Experience in legal, corporate, or media transcription is an advantage

Freshers with strong language and typing skills may also apply
