Job Summary
Cruise Ship Jobs is seeking dedicated, detail-oriented, and service-focused individuals to join our hospitality team as a Room Attendant – Guest Cabin Cleaning and Turn-Down Service. This role plays a critical part in delivering an exceptional onboard guest experience by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation in guest staterooms and suites.
As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that guest accommodations are cleaned, sanitized, and prepared according to luxury hospitality standards. You will create a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests while maintaining professionalism, efficiency, and discretion throughout your daily responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and maintain assigned guest cabins, suites, hallways, and service areas according to company standards.

Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities including toiletries, beverages, and supplies.

Perform daily housekeeping services including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, sanitizing, and organizing guest rooms.

Provide evening turn-down service by preparing beds, refreshing towels, and creating a relaxing environment for guests.

Inspect cabins carefully to ensure all areas meet cleanliness and presentation standards.

Report maintenance issues, damaged furniture, or missing items to the housekeeping supervisor promptly.

Handle guest requests politely and efficiently, such as extra towels, pillows, or special room arrangements.

Follow all sanitation, health, hygiene, and safety regulations onboard.

Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.

Ensure guest privacy and security by following company confidentiality policies.

Support deep-cleaning schedules during embarkation and turnaround days.

Collaborate with housekeeping team members to ensure operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.

Previous housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience is an advantage.

Strong understanding of cleanliness and sanitation procedures.

Experience

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in housekeeping, hotel operations, resort services, or hospitality cleaning preferred.

Experience in luxury hotels, resorts, cruise ships, or guest accommodation services is highly desirable.

Experience handling VIP guest rooms or suites is considered an advantage.
Working Hours

Contract-based employment, typically 6 to 9 months onboard.

Flexible scheduling including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Daily shifts may range from 8 to 11 hours depending on operational requirements.

One day off may vary according to cruise itinerary and departmental schedules.
