Job Summary
IT Sight Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Security Engineer specializing in IRAP and FedRAMP compliance frameworks. This role is critical in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud infrastructures that meet stringent regulatory and government standards. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, a proactive security mindset, and hands-on experience in cloud security governance, risk management, and compliance across complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of secure cloud architectures aligned with IRAP and FedRAMP requirements.

Conduct security assessments, audits, and gap analyses for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Develop, maintain, and enforce cloud security policies, procedures, and standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure system design and deployment.

Manage continuous monitoring processes and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.

Support authorization processes including ATO (Authorization to Operate).

Automate security controls and compliance checks using modern DevSecOps tools.

Stay updated with evolving security threats, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of IRAP and FedRAMP frameworks and compliance requirements.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.

Expertise in cloud security tools, SIEM solutions, and vulnerability management systems.

Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or AWS Security Specialty preferred.
Experience

Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in cybersecurity or cloud security roles.

Proven experience working with government or highly regulated environments.

Demonstrated success in achieving and maintaining compliance certifications like IRAP or FedRAMP.

Experience in incident response and security operations is a strong advantage.
