Fresher Jobs Hub is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Sustainability Consultant specializing in Net Zero Strategy to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding organizations toward carbon neutrality, developing sustainability frameworks, and implementing actionable climate strategies aligned with global ESG standards. This is a remote position offering the opportunity to work with diverse clients across industries while driving measurable environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of Net Zero and carbon reduction strategies for clients across multiple sectors
Conduct carbon footprint assessments and lifecycle analyses
Design ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) frameworks aligned with global reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD)
Advise organizations on renewable energy transition, carbon offset programs, and sustainability roadmaps
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and finance
Prepare detailed sustainability reports, presentations, and regulatory documentation
Monitor global sustainability trends, policies, and compliance requirements
Support clients in achieving Science-Based Targets (SBTi) commitments

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong expertise in sustainability, climate change strategy, or environmental consulting
Deep understanding of Net Zero frameworks and carbon accounting methodologies
Knowledge of ESG reporting standards (GRI, CDP, TCFD, SASB)
Proficiency in data analysis and sustainability reporting tools
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to translate complex environmental data into actionable business strategies
Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and sustainability modeling tools

Experience

Minimum 5–8 years of experience in sustainability consulting, environmental strategy, or related fields
Proven track record in delivering Net Zero or decarbonization projects
Experience working with corporate clients across industries such as energy, manufacturing, technology, or finance preferred

Working Hours

Flexible remote working arrangement
Standard expectation: 35–40 hours per week
Availability across overlapping global time zones may be required for client coordination
