Job Summary

InfoTech Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our global cloud-based systems. In this remote role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust infrastructure, automating operations, and improving system resilience across large-scale distributed environments. You will collaborate closely with software engineering, DevOps, and security teams to deliver seamless digital experiences for our global users.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure
Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability across global environments
Develop automation tools and scripts to reduce manual operational tasks
Define and manage Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Respond to production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
Collaborate with development teams to improve system design for reliability and scalability
Manage CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment processes
Implement observability solutions including logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
Ensure security best practices are followed across infrastructure and applications
Participate in on-call rotations for incident management support

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python, Go, or Bash
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, etc.)
Understanding of networking concepts, load balancing, and distributed systems
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Experience

3–7 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles
Proven experience supporting large-scale production systems in a global environment
Experience in incident management and production support is highly desirable

Working Hours

Fully remote position with flexible working hours
Must be available for occasional overlap with global teams across different time zones
Participation in on-call rotation schedule as required
