Job Summary

Quality Assurance Labs is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Software QA Tester with expertise in both manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by identifying defects, improving testing processes, and collaborating closely with development and product teams. This role requires a balance of analytical thinking, technical proficiency, and a passion for quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications
Perform manual testing to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies
Track, document, and report defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution
Conduct regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Continuously improve QA processes, methodologies, and best practices
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
Proficiency in manual testing techniques and test case design
Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks
Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript
Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Experience

2–5 years of experience in software testing (manual and automation)
Hands-on experience in developing and executing automated test scripts
Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments is preferred

Working Hours

Full-time position
Standard working hours: Monday to Friday (Flexible shifts may be required based on project needs)
Hybrid/Remote work options available depending on project requirements
