As a Staff Product Designer, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping product strategy, mentoring design teams, and collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

Lead the design process from discovery and ideation to prototyping, testing, and final implementation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, marketing, and customer success.

Translate complex business requirements into elegant and user-friendly design solutions.

Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to identify customer pain points and opportunities.

Develop wireframes, user flows, prototypes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs.

Maintain and evolve scalable design systems and UI standards.

Mentor junior and mid-level designers, providing feedback and professional guidance.

Advocate for user-centered design principles across the organization.

Present design concepts and strategic recommendations to leadership teams and stakeholders.

Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design solutions.

Contribute to long-term product strategy and innovation initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.

Strong portfolio showcasing product design expertise across web and mobile platforms.

Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar platforms.

Deep understanding of UX principles, interaction design, visual design, and accessibility standards.

Ability to create user journeys, information architecture, and design systems.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Experience

Minimum of 7+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or digital product development.

Proven experience leading large-scale design initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.

Experience working with distributed or remote teams across multiple time zones.

Previous experience in SaaS, fintech, e-commerce, enterprise software, or digital platforms is highly preferred.

Leadership or mentoring experience within a product design team is an advantage.
