Technical Account Manager – Remote IT Infrastructure

Job Summary

HR Talent Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and client-focused Technical Account Manager (TAM) to support enterprise clients in managing and optimizing their IT infrastructure in a fully remote environment. In this role, you will act as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teams, ensuring seamless service delivery, proactive issue resolution, and long-term infrastructure stability. You will play a critical role in driving customer satisfaction, retention, and technical success across cloud and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned enterprise clients
• Manage end-to-end IT infrastructure support, including cloud, network, and system operations
• Monitor client environments and proactively identify performance or security risks
• Coordinate with engineering, DevOps, and support teams to resolve technical issues
• Lead technical reviews, service health checks, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs)
• Assist clients with infrastructure optimization, scalability planning, and migration strategies
• Maintain detailed documentation of client environments and support activities
• Ensure SLA compliance and escalate critical issues when required
• Provide strategic guidance on IT infrastructure best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with system administration, virtualization, and monitoring tools
• Excellent client-facing communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management frameworks
• Ability to manage multiple enterprise accounts simultaneously
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and compliance standards
• Proficiency in ticketing systems and CRM tools

Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in IT support, systems engineering, DevOps, or technical account management
• Experience working with enterprise-level clients in a remote or distributed environment preferred
• Prior exposure to cloud infrastructure management is highly desirable

Working Hours

• Fully remote position
• Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (local time zone flexibility may be required)
• On-call rotation may be required for critical incident support
