Job Description

Job Summary

TechAssist Services is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Entry-Level Technical Support Representative to join our growing support team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about technology and eager to build a career in IT support. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with technical issues, providing timely solutions, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, or chat to customers experiencing technical issues.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related problems.
  • Guide users through step-by-step solutions in a clear and professional manner.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions in the system.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issues are fully resolved.
  • Stay updated with product knowledge, system updates, and troubleshooting procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and common software applications.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering quality service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, or Linux is an advantage.

Experience

  • Freshers are welcome to apply.
  • Prior experience in customer service or technical support is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Internship or coursework related to IT, computer science, or a similar field will be advantageous.

Working Hours

  • Flexible shifts, including day and rotational shifts depending on business requirements.
  • Full-time position with possible weekend or holiday support as needed.
