Job Summary
InfoTech Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Technical Writer to join our growing remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving technical documentation related to cloud infrastructure, platform services, deployment processes, system architecture, APIs, security controls, and operational procedures.
You will work closely with cloud engineers, DevOps specialists, product managers, security teams, and software developers to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation for both internal teams and external clients. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for technology, strong writing abilities, and a deep understanding of cloud ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities

Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation for cloud infrastructure platforms, deployment pipelines, architecture diagrams, APIs, and system integrations.

Develop installation guides, configuration manuals, troubleshooting documentation, knowledge base articles, and release notes.

Collaborate with engineering and product teams to gather technical information and document new cloud services and infrastructure changes.

Translate complex engineering concepts into concise and understandable content for technical and non-technical audiences.

Ensure documentation follows organizational standards, style guides, compliance requirements, and version control processes.

Manage documentation repositories and maintain document lifecycle processes.

Create process workflows, diagrams, and technical illustrations to improve content clarity.

Review documentation for accuracy, consistency, completeness, and usability.

Support internal training initiatives by creating learning materials, SOPs, and onboarding guides.

Continuously improve documentation processes based on feedback from users and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Journalism, or a related field.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

Strong ability to simplify highly technical concepts into easy-to-understand documentation.

Experience with technical documentation tools such as Confluence, Jira, Markdown, Git, or similar platforms.

Understanding of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.

Familiarity with API documentation, system architecture, networking concepts, and infrastructure automation.

Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Experience
-
Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in technical writing, preferably within cloud computing, infrastructure engineering, SaaS, or enterprise technology environments.

Experience documenting cloud architectures, deployment workflows, infrastructure services, and technical operational processes.

Prior experience working with engineering, DevOps, or platform teams is highly preferred.

Experience in Agile or Scrum-based development environments is an advantage.
Working Hours

Full-time remote position.

Standard work schedule: 40 hours per week.

Flexible working hours with overlap required for team collaboration across global time zones.

Occasional availability may be required during product releases or infrastructure updates.
