Job Summary

OceanGlide Cruises is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Uniform and Gear Coordinator – Cruise Staff Supply Chain Support to manage the distribution, inventory, tracking, and quality control of uniforms, safety gear, and operational supplies for onboard crew members.

This role is essential in ensuring that all staff members across departments receive the correct uniforms, protective equipment, and work-related gear before embarkation and throughout their assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong supply chain coordination skills, excellent organizational abilities, and experience in inventory or logistics operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the allocation, distribution, and replacement of crew uniforms, footwear, accessories, and operational gear.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of uniforms, safety equipment, and staff supplies across multiple cruise operations.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams, warehouse teams, and onboard department managers regarding supply requirements.
  • Track incoming shipments and outgoing stock movements using inventory management systems.
  • Conduct routine stock audits and identify shortages, damaged goods, or discrepancies.
  • Ensure uniforms and equipment comply with company standards, branding requirements, and maritime safety regulations.
  • Prepare staff kits before onboarding, ensuring each crew member receives the correct items based on department and role.
  • Monitor uniform return processes during crew disembarkation and arrange cleaning, repair, or replacement.
  • Work closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Generate weekly and monthly supply reports for management review.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of inventory systems, warehouse coordination, and supply chain processes.
  • Proficiency in inventory software, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle urgent supply requirements.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in inventory control, logistics coordination, warehouse operations, hospitality supply management, or related areas.
  • Experience in cruise, hotel, aviation, retail distribution, or uniform management operations is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with international vendors or multi-location supply operations is an advantage.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position.
  • Standard 40–48 hours per week, depending on operational requirements.
  • May require flexible shifts, weekend availability, and support during embarkation schedules.
  • Availability for urgent supply coordination during peak operational periods may be required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong inventory forecasting and stock management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of supply chain documentation and procurement procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent record-keeping and reporting accuracy.
  • Ability to lift and inspect supply packages when necessary.
  • Understanding of workplace safety procedures and uniform compliance standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with diverse crew teams.
