User Experience (UX) Researcher – Remote FinServ

Job Summary

InfoTech Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and user-focused User Experience (UX) Researcher to support the design and optimization of digital financial services (FinServ) products. In this remote role, you will be responsible for uncovering user insights, shaping product strategy, and improving end-to-end customer experiences across web and mobile platforms. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure that user needs are at the center of every design decision.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research studies including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and field studies
• Analyze user behavior and synthesize insights into actionable recommendations for product and design teams
• Develop user personas, journey maps, and experience frameworks for FinServ digital products
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to validate design concepts and prototypes through iterative testing
• Translate complex financial service workflows into user-friendly experiences
• Present research findings clearly to stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations
• Identify user pain points and propose evidence-based improvements
• Work closely with product managers to influence roadmap decisions based on research insights
• Ensure research aligns with regulatory and compliance requirements within financial services

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Sociology, Design, or related field
• Strong experience in UX research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative)
• Proficiency in research tools such as UserTesting, Maze, Lookback, Dovetail, or similar platforms
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills for presenting insights
• Understanding of financial services products (banking, payments, lending, or investment platforms) is preferred
• Experience working in Agile product environments
• Ability to manage multiple research projects simultaneously in a remote setup

Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in UX Research or related user-centered design roles
• Prior experience in FinTech or financial services industry is highly desirable
• Experience working in cross-functional global teams is an advantage

Working Hours

• Full-time remote position
• Flexible working hours aligned with core collaboration windows (typically 9 AM – 6 PM IST or overlapping US/EU hours depending on project needs)
• Occasional availability required for stakeholder meetings across time zones
