Job Summary

HR Talent Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Virtual Paralegal to support a fast-paced U.S.-based Personal Injury Law Firm. In this remote role, you will assist attorneys in managing case files, preparing legal documents, coordinating client communication, and ensuring smooth case progression from intake through settlement or litigation. The ideal candidate has strong legal knowledge, excellent communication skills, and experience working in personal injury law environments.

Key Responsibilities

Assist attorneys in preparing, drafting, and reviewing legal documents such as pleadings, discovery responses, demand letters, and settlement agreements
Manage and organize case files using legal case management software
Conduct initial case intake and gather client documentation
Communicate with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and opposing counsel
Track deadlines, court dates, and ensure compliance with filing requirements
Assist in preparing demand packages for settlement negotiations
Perform legal research related to personal injury claims and case law
Maintain accurate records and update case status regularly
Support attorneys in trial preparation and case summaries

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience as a Paralegal, preferably in Personal Injury Law
Strong understanding of U.S. legal procedures and personal injury case workflow
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Proficiency with legal software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, PracticePanther, or similar)
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Familiarity with medical records and insurance claim processes is an advantage

Experience

Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Paralegal in a U.S. Personal Injury Law Firm or equivalent legal support role
Experience handling case management from intake to settlement preferred

Working Hours

Full-time remote position
Standard U.S. business hours (with possible flexibility depending on case deadlines and attorney requirements)
Occasional overtime may be required during peak litigation periods
