Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Virtual Travel Agent to join our remote team specializing in global itinerary planning. In this role, you will be responsible for designing seamless, personalized, and cost-effective travel experiences for clients across international destinations. You will handle end-to-end travel arrangements including flights, accommodations, transportation, and curated activities while ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about travel, digital tools, and delivering premium remote customer experiences.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage customized international travel itineraries based on client preferences and budgets
  • Research and book flights, hotels, transportation, tours, and travel insurance
  • Provide expert recommendations on destinations, visa requirements, and travel regulations
  • Communicate with clients via email, chat, and virtual meetings to understand travel needs
  • Monitor booking changes, cancellations, and rebooking requests efficiently
  • Coordinate with travel vendors, airlines, and hotel partners for smooth execution
  • Ensure compliance with travel policies, safety standards, and documentation requirements
  • Handle last-minute itinerary adjustments and emergency travel support
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and client profiles

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of global travel destinations and tourism trends
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in travel booking systems (GDS such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo is a plus)
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple itineraries simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in a fully remote environment
  • Basic financial awareness for budgeting travel packages

Experience

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in travel planning, tourism, hospitality, or customer service preferred
  • Freshers with strong passion for travel and excellent communication skills may also be considered

Working Hours

  • Remote position with flexible working hours
  • Must be available for client communication across different time zones (occasional weekend or evening availability may be required)
  • Full-time commitment preferred (40 hours/week average)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Deep understanding of international travel logistics and itinerary structuring
  • Ability to use digital booking platforms and CRM tools efficiently
  • Strong negotiation skills with vendors and service providers
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Multilingual ability is an added advantage
  • Strong analytical mindset for optimizing travel cost and experience balance
  • Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented under pressure
